Our mum Linda could walk into any room and know — in seconds — what would make a woman feel like the best version of herself. Not the version she thought she should be. The version she actually was.

She spent 30 years doing this for free. For strangers in fitting rooms. For friends before job interviews. For anyone who'd let her. She had a gift that cannot be taught — and she gave it away her whole life.

Money was always needed somewhere else. The store stayed a dream in a notebook — fabric swatches, names of women she'd helped, colours she'd someday stock. She never threw that notebook away.
